Design Intern

The University of Sheffield (Sponsored by National Instruments)

Sheffield

July 2016

I designed a carbon monoxide (CO) detector on a sponsored work placement from National Instruments. I used LABVIEW to design software for a myRIO so it could interface with the sensor and then communicate that data back and interpret the analogue signal. I was ahead of schedule and additionally built a robot that the sensor could connect to, allowing for the remote operation of the sensor.
